Authors of the competition entry express their opinion that the competition should create conditions for practical realization and definite solution for central zone of city Kragujevac. Solution is afirmative for existing traditional values of bulit structure, still present in the city. On the other hand there is a need to create quality new space - unique and recognizable as new identity of city Kragujevac.

Consultants: Nenad Šekularac, Svetlana Petrovic

The key idea of the solution is to create City Square for pedestrians only, surrounded with significant cultural objects. Very important highlight of the solution is partial reconstruction of the city block towards Krst in order to extend pedestrian zone up to the Save Kovacevica and Visnjiceva street.
Central city zone is articulated and enriched with new contents and different ambients.

3rd Prize
code: "Brand in"
Authors: Dušan Sušic, Dubravka Sušic
Coworkers: Sveta Teofilovic, Andrea Sušic, 3D Zoran Drndarevic

The authors think that city should be observed as the product at the market. New capital incomes for helping urban development should be achived by raising the levels of attractions of city center. Center should be transformed into new urban symbol by intergating city spaces in city network, upgrading the communications and economical efficiency and the partnership between public and private sector.
The solution preserves objects from previous times and with the new objects tends to create continuity of new forms in the context of existing city structure.
